King Seti I
“Seti I” completed Horemheb’s work in restoring the Egyptian Empire in Levant. Along with his son Ramses II, he fought against the kings of the Hittite Kingdom. Towards the end of his reign, he co-ruled with his son Ramses II. Among Seti I’s most important achievements was the construction of his tomb in the Valley of the Kings, considered the greatest tomb in the Valley. He also completed the Great Hypostyle Hall (134 columns) at the Temple of Karnak and built the most beautiful Egyptian temple in Abydos.
